Cucumber Crush base card: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"
Designer Series Paper: 4" x 5 1/4"
Watercolor Paper: 3" x 4 1/4"
Stamp flower on Watercolor Paper using White Craft Ink. Cover with White Embossing Powder and emboss using the Heat Tool.
With the Watermelon Wonder stamp pad closed, squeeze the lid on to the stamp pad inside. This allows you to pick up ink on the top of the inside case to create a palette.
Color the flower using your Aqua Painter to pick up Watermelon Wonder ink from the top of the stamp pad case. Work slowly to get a wide variety of light and dark color within the small petal areas of the flower. Let dry.
Color the stem the same way using Mint Macaron ink ~ lightly.
Assemble base card. Add DSP.
Add Dimensionals to the Watercolor Paper and adhere to the front of the card.
Score Basic Black CS at 5-1/2; fold to form card base.
Round corners of Whisper White CS using PL Corner Rounder punch. Adhere to card front.
Stamp Whisper White card front with ‘tread’ image from Gorgeous Grunge using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
Using same Memento Black ink, stamp various six-sided images onto long strip of Whisper White card stock. Punch out each image using the Hexagon punch. (save your scrap)
Adhere 1 punched image flat to card front using SNAIL.
Adhere 2 punched images together using Tear & Tape adhesive; Repeat with 2nd set of punched images. Add each set to card front using Dimensionals.
Using remaining scrap piece of Whisper White CS, stamp ‘sentiment’ using Memento Black ink; Punch using Washi Label punch. (Only 1 end will have the ‘washi’ torn edge.) Slip punched image back into punch to get the ‘washi’ torn edge to remaining side. Adhere to small piece of Basic Black CS. Add to card front using Dimensionals.
Die cut Butterfly using Butterflies Thinlits and Big Shot/Magnetic Platform. Add to card front using Dimensionals. Add string of 3 pearls.
Welcome to another great challenge from the Nachos!
For some reason, this was not one of my favorite combinations, but I accepted the challenge! :-)
I used my favorite set (at least this week!), Vintage Leaves (#138802). It's great because it has a coordinating set of framelits (Leaflets, #138283). AND, you can purchase them as a bundle and save 15%! woohoo!!! Watch for more cards with this set -- it really is a versatile set! Plus, you can't have too many leaves!!!! :-)
