Good morning!! Check out this sketch from the Nachos:
Pretty simple and straightforward, don't you think? Lot's of possibilities--can't wait to see what you decide to create!! Just go to the Nacho Blog, and leave us a link to your creation!!! Here's mine:
Very easy card! I stamped the "wow" from the Bravo Stamp Set -- it's easy to line them up with the photopolymer stamps!! The paper is from the Taffy Designer Series Paper! Oh, and the ink is Blackberry Bliss!! Fun stuff!!!
Emboss Night of Navy card stock using the Arrow TIEF. Attach insert with SNAIL.
Sponge stars onto Real Red card stock using the Stars Decorative Mask, Real Red Ink Pad and Sponge Daubers. Cut 4 ¼ X 1 Whisper White card stock in half using the Stampin’ Trimmer. Attach to Real Red cardstock using SNAIL. Adhere to cardfront using SNAIL.
Stamp “celebrate” image in Night of Navy ink. Round corners using the Envelope Punch Board.
Punch banners using Maritime DSP and attach with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Embellish star punch out with a Rhinestone and attach to banner using Glue Dot.
Wrap 5” Baker’s Twine around card and secure with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Attach bow with Glue Dot. Attach to Real Red card stock using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Strawberry Slush Card Base - 5 ½ x 8 ½, scored at 4 ¼”
Pistachio Pudding - 4” x 5 ¼”
Strawberry Slush Panel - 2 ¾” x 4”; Whisper White Panel - 2 ½” x 3 ¾”
Run the Pistachio Pudding panel through the Textured Boutique Machine with the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder. Wrap Strawberry Slush Thick Baker’s Twine around the middle of this panel three times and secure on the back side. Adhere to card base with Dimensionals.
Stamp the Koala image with StazOn onto the White Panel. Stamp the small “swoosh” with second generation* images from Work of Art. Color with markers as shown.
Adhere the image panel to the Strawberry Slush panel and then attach to your card with Dimensionals.
*Create a “second generation” image by stamping off once on scrap before stamping onto your project.
Good morning, one and all! I hope you're all having a wonderful day! We have a fun color challenge for you today over on the Nacho Blog (well, here, too, but you have to go there to play along! haha!):
Last of summer!! :-) Here's my card, using the Bloom with Hope Hostess Set:
I really think this is a gorgeous color combination! I wasn't sure the Daffodil Delight really "fit", but I think it does!!! Kind of brightens up the whole thing!!
I love making Halloween cards! So, you'll probably see alot of them in the coming weeks! I especially like sets that are multi-taskers--like the new set, "Fall Fest", in the Holiday Catalog! It's a great Halloween set, but also can be used for any fall cards you might need! Here's a card I made with this set, using the sketch from Case this Sketch:
I used the Sweet Taffy Designer Series Paper for the background--works perfectly!!! Colors are Pumpkin Pie and Basic Black! Here's the sketch:
