!! Well, I promised to show you the projects I showed at the Albuquerque Regional Seminar yesterday--and here they are!!!
I showed how I used the word window punch in a new way--by using the punched out pieces as embellishments on cards, boxes, etc!!
For this card, I used yoyo yellow, summer sun and basic black punch outs on a white card base. I used the Just Buzzin' By Stamp set.
Here, I used the same technique, but with punch outs of Designer Paper (Sweet Always for this card).
You can also embellish your 3-D items:
I cut out a box with the Big Shot, then trimmed off the lid and top flaps. I then covered all sides with the word window punch-outs. Added ribbone and jumbo brads!! Very easy to do!!
Last but not least, is a stair step card I made! I was thinking the punch outs could be used as "grass". When I showed it to a friend, they thought it looked like a fence!! Works either way!!
Just fyi--I used sticky strip to adhere the punch outs. Just put two long strips down, and then lay the punch outs side by side!!
Hope you enjoyed it!
