Oh my–love these balloons!! This card was made a for a friend–really someone who’s become family to me! She’s a stamper, so I wanted to do something fun for her!
The colors came from today’s Color Dare Challenge — I used Azure Afternoon, Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green! I stamped the balloon image once in each of the colors, then cut them out with the Perennial Postage Dies. I then cut some skinny strips (1/4″, I think), and layered those onto my card front. The squares were attached using Stampin’ Dimensionals! Then, the “Happy Birthday” was stamped in Basic Black Hybrid ink.

Hope you’ll join us!! It’s a fun color combination!!

How fun! This is a great way to use our colors. I love the narrow strips behind the balloons and how it ties it all togetherl
Thanks so much, Michelle!
Love the color strips and the postage stamp balloons.
Thanks!!!
Your card is darling, Tammy! I love the way you framed the balloons on the dies. I have to remember the way you did those colored strips of paper! So clever! I could get rid of some of my ribbon stash!
Thank you, Cathy!!
How fun with the partial balloon images matching the strips at each end 🙂
Thanks, Alyson!
