Good morning!!! I can't believe it's already 2010!! This holiday season went by so fast!! The boys are in mourning--only 3 more days of vacation!! lol!!
It's Saturday, and that means one thing--the sketch challenge over at Utah Divas International!! Here's my card:
I love all the new things in the Occasions Mini Catalog!! (if you haven't received your copy, please email with your mailing address, and I'll send you one!!)
The base of this card is Pretty in Pink cardstock (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2"), followed by a layer of Chocolate Chip (4"x 5 1/4"). The designer paper is GORGEOUS!!! It's called Sending Love, and is embellished with glitter!!! Yep, one side of each sheet has glitter!! (can't argue with sparkly, but no mess!!). It's cut to 3 7/8" x 5 1/8". The ribbon is 5/8" Chocolate Chip Grosgrain, with Pink Taffeta ribbon layered on top. I simply adhered these to the back of the Chocolate Chip layer, then glued the whole thing to the Pretty in Pink card base.
The three rectangles each measure: Chocolate Chip is 2 1/4" x 1 1/2", and the Whisper White is 2" x 1 1/4".
The flowers are from the Sweet Pea Stitched Felt!! This is a 52-piece, custom-colored collection--so much fun to use!!! (and, only $7.95--not bad!!)
