Super Easy Gift Card Holder (and how to!)

Good morning!!  We made this fun gift card holder at Patsy's workshop in November!  All the ladies loved it, so I thought I would share it with you!

It's really just a Medium Very Vanilla envelope folded in half, and embellished!!  Here's the inside, so you can see what I mean:

So, all you do--fold the envelop in half, and crease with your bone folder.  Then, open it up and cut a slit in the flap of the envelope, along the fold line.  "Seal" the left half of the flap closed.  Then, stamp and embellish!  Here are the measurements I used:

For the front:

Gumball Green cardstock:  2 3/4" x 4 1/4", scrap for Decorative Label Punch  (punch, then cut in half and adhere to back of sentiment to create the mat)

Be of Good Cheer Designer Paper:  2 1/2" x 4"

Gumball Green Stitched Satin Ribbon:  about 20" 

For the inside:

Cherry Cobbler cardstock:  2 1/2" x 4"

Very Vanilla cardstock:  2 3/8" x 3 7/8"

I used the Snowflake Soiree Stamp Set for both the sentiment and the inside--makes it just a bit more festive!!

So, go make some gift card holders!! LOL!!

Sketch Frenzy Friday!

Good morning!!  Here's another great sketch for you from the ladies over at Sketch Frenzy Friday!

This sketch was designed by Patrice, and it was alot of fun to work with:

I used my Betsy's Blossoms stamp set--it was feeling neglected!!  With all the holidays, I'd forgotten you could make cards other than Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas!! :-)

Ink:  Midnight Muse, Marina Mist & Gumball Green

Cardstock:  Gumball Green, Midnight Muse, Whisper White & Gumball Green Core'dinations

Jingle Boxes

Good morning!!  Here is a project that I first saw on Pinterest!  I loved it, and knew I had to make some for the craft fairs!  People LOVED them!! 

The "Jingle all the way" is a decor element--only $3.95!!  The frame is an 8x8 shadow box from Michael's.  They are $9.95.  The back is covered with designer paper (retired), and the jingle bells are loose inside the frame!  Very easy project to put together!!

Merry "Kiss"mas Treats!!

Hi!  Here's another project I made for the craft fairs!  These are soooo much fun to make, and sooo easy! (sorry for the pic--it was taken with my phone!)

The cardstock is 4" x 5", then score along the 5" side at 1 1/4", 2 1/2" & 3 3/4".  The designer paper is 3 3/4" by 4".  I don't score the designer paper--just wrap it around and adhere with Sticky Strip!

On the inside I put a strip of sticky strip, then put 4 Hershey Kisses down!  If you want to see a pic of the side view, click HERE!  (yes, I've been making these for over 4 yrs!!)

Snow Day!!!

The boys are home from school for a Snow Day!!  woohoo!!  It's really cold here--and we aren't used to it!! LOL!  So, we're playing video games, stamping, and just wasting time!  A perfect day!

As promised, here are some of the items I had for sale at my craft fairs this year!  If you have any questions about anything, just drop me an email! (ps. sorry for the picture quality--took these with my phone!)

Gift Card holders--made by folding an envelope in half, then decorating the front and inside!  (sorry no pics of the inside!).  These sold out in about 2 hours!  I wish I had made about 100 more!!

Nugget Tins--these are filled with Hershey Kisses or Hershey Nuggets.  Sold out of these, too!

Wrapped Hershey Bars:

I saw this poem in a Paper Crafter's magazine YEARS ago!!  I thought it was so cute!  and, it's so much fun to watch people as they read it--they always get a kick out of it!  And, before you ask, here's the pdf with the poem listed four times!  Just print and trim!!
