Happy Mother's Day!

Good morning!  I wanted to explain my absence from the blog!  I've gone back to work full-time!!  Hooray!  I love my new job, but it has taken me some time to get used to the hours!  And, add to that all the baseball games and tennis matches--well, there just isn't as much time for stamping and/or computer work!  As time goes by, and I work out my schedule, there will be more time to share!  I hope you'll stick it out with me! :-)  Here's a card we made at my April Club Meetings:

Super Simple!

You can't get much simpler than this!  Just punch three hearts out and adhere them to form a clover!

Good morning!!  I love the color challenge over at the Nacho Blog this morning--made me think of St. Patrick's Day!!

So, I made a card for that holiday!

I didn't have a clover stamp, so I created my own using the small heart punch!  The layout came from MaryJo's Sketch Challenge:

Another Swallowtail!!

Good morning!  I am so excited--my new card clubs start next weekend!  Can't wait to see all the ladies again!!  Here's one of the cards we'll be making:

It uses the beautiful new Swallowtail Background stamp!  Isn't it beautiful?!  I embossed her in with Versamark Ink and Melon Mambo embossing powder!  Once embossed, I cut her up into three strips and mounted those onto Basic Black card stock.  That was layered onto my Melon Mambo card base!  Quick and easy!

I was using the color challenge over at PPA, but couldn't quite get the Gray in there:

Oh well, I'll enter anyway!!  Maybe they won't mind! :-)

This is a super-simple card, but so lovely!  Love when your designer paper is pretty enough to be your focal point!  I used a piece from the Attic Boutique designer paper - found in the Occasions Mini catalog--which expires on April 30th--so be sure and order yours today!!
