My card today is a "z fold" card! Very easy to make: card base is 4 1/4" x 11, scored at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2". Fold your card in half at the 5 1/2" mark, then fold the front "flap" back at the 2 3/4" mark!
Here it is open, so that you can see the fold better:
On of the most important things to remember--when you're adhering the front image, be sure you only put adhesive on one side!! :-) Otherwise, it will be really hard to open!! LOL!

Good morning! First, I want to offer up prayers for any and all affected by Hurricane Sandy. We've been glued to the TV--watching in amazement at the damage. What an awful storm.
Today's Nacho Challenge is a great color combo:
Aren't they pretty!? A nice fall combination, but not your normal fall!! Here's what I came up with:
I used the popular Triple Time Stamping technique for this card! The stamp set is Gently Falling, and the sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes! Other than that--just cardstock and inks in the challenge colors!

Good morning! Such a nice day--the boys are out of school for parent/teacher conferences, so we're enjoying a lazy day!
This week, the Nachos have a sketch challenge for you:
Super easy, and very versatile--you can replace the circles with any shape or embellishment!! Here's what I did:
I CASE'd a card I made about a year ago! You can see it HERE! I showed this technique at a Stampin' Up! Regional event held here in Albuquerque. Everyone loved it!

Ink: Night of Navy, Cajun Craze & More Mustard
Paper: Very Vanilla
Misc: Various Circle punches to create "masks". I punched the circles in post-it notes, then used those as my templates. Stampin' Sponges.

Here's my card! I really had a hard time with this one!!
For the leave, I sponged on the Bravo Burgundy and Sahara Sand ink, using a sponge dauber. Then, stamped the outline with Garden Green. I wish the colors were more distinct, but this is the best one I got! LOL!! Here are all the supplies I used:

I just love this paper! It's from the Orchard Harvest Designer Paper. The colors are awesome, aren't they?! I really like the Raspberry Ripple with the fall colors! I used it for my scallops! It's a pretty straightforward card, but if you have any questions, let me know!

Good morning!! I finally got down to my studio, and had some fun! Today's card is for two challenges:

And, my card:
I used a tree full of leaves, rather than a single "leaf" for the CASology challenge! It's the tree from Lovely As a Tree. I used my Early Espress Stampin' Write marker to color the trunk. Then, I used sponge daubers to add the More Mustard and Cajun Craze to the tree. I love the way it looks! I was married in October in a little chapel in New Hampshire--we didn't need too many decorations, as we had the wonderful fall colors all around us!

Good morning! Today I have a card for you using the Dynamic Duos challenge:
I used the Evergreen stamp set--I stamped the solid image with Certainly Celery ink, then stamped over with the outline stamp in Always Artichoke ink. After stamping, I went over the trees with Silver Sparkle Dazzling Details, and topped them with a Rhinestone! Very sparkly!!!
