My girls!!

Good morning!!  Now that convention is underway, and I won't spoil the surprise--here are the gifts I made for the girls in my group that are attending convention with me!

It's a nugget tin, filled with lots of little goodies!!

At the top are the tags I made--we all get a great tote bag at convention, so I make these for them--so they can find their bag quickly and easily!

The pumpkin pie packet is a Shout Wipe, the Rose Red is a packet of bandaids, and I also covered some breath mints.  There's a nail file and pen, too!!

Money Holder.........

Good morning!!  I'm so excited--I have a friend coming over today, and I'm going to help her with a few scrapbook pages!!  Baseball pages--how fun!!

Here's a money hold I made for my son's friend that turned 15 on Monday!

He's on the high school team with my son, but I thought they might be too old for a baseball theme?  It's so hard to decide what to do for them as they get older!!  I used Celebrate Everything--I use this set ALL the time, so will probably hold onto it after it retires on June 30.  The candle is from Party Heart.  I stamped the "Celebrate" with Silver Encore ink, and the rest is done with Black Stazon.  Carstock used:  Basic Black, Silver and Whisper White.

Here's the inside:

Measurements were:  6 3/4" x 7 1/4", Scored at 1 1/4" and 4 1/4" on the 7 1/4" side.  Honestly, I don't measure most of the time--I just put the dollar bill on the cardstock, and mark how wide to make it, leaving enough room for the Sticky Strip, then just kinda fold it around the money!!  (I did put more than a $1 in!!! haha!!)

I love Sundays!!!

I love Sundays because it's the day we usually get together with our neighbors and have a BBQ.  We're like family, and we always have such fun!!!  We're having brisket today--yum!!!

This one is very simple, but I think the colors really make it stand out!  I used Old Olive and Melon Mambo.  The stamp set is "Elements of Style"--one of my new favs!!  It's just so easy to work with!  It's found in the Summer Mini Catalog!

I'm off to complete some orders!  I've recently started making notecards, gift certificates, etc for other business owners.  The ones listed HERE are mainly for ladies that sell Premier Jewelry, but they can be changed for any business!!

Gift Certificates!

Happy Monday!!  I have to make this quick--my youngest has a golf camp this morning!!  He's so excited!

Here's a quick and easy gift certificate envelope!  I used the soon-to-be-retired Pixie Pink, and Basic Black.  The Satin Ribbon really adds a touch of elegance!!  The background was done with Elements of Style, and the Sentiment is from It's Your Birthday!!!

I made these for the Premier Jewelry ladies.  I'm going to their training tomorrow night to help with Customer Service!!  I'm VERY excited about it!!

Embellish Magazine's Blog Hop!!!

It's here!!  The first Embellish Magazine Blog Hop!!  I am so honored to have been a contributor to the first issue, as well as this hop!  I loved the magazine, and can't wait to "hop" through all these wonderful projects!!  So, grab a cup of your favorite morning beverage and enjoy the creativity!!

For the hop, we were asked to create a paper craft project using: red, brown, kraft, turquoise and use twine.  (White/Cream are fine to add as well).  I have fallen in love with Stampin' Up!'s new Elements of Style stamp set--so I grabbed that!!

 

I used my wonderful Big Shot to cut out the three butterflies--one each in Bermuda Bay, Kraft and Real Red.  I stamped the flower image in Basic Brown ink, and watercolored with Real Red and Bermuda Bay.  The pearls are from the Pretties Kit, adhered with Mini Glue Dots.  The card base is Kraft, which is then layered with Bermuda Bay.  I sent my 1/4 sheet of Soft Suede through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.  I love that folder!!  But, to be honest--I'm not sure which is the "right" side!! haha!!  So, I just use whichever I like better!  The sentiment is also from Elements of Style--it's stamped in Basic Brown, then I added the flower image in Bermuda Bay.  I'm very happy with the way the card turned out!  Sure hope you like it, too!!!

Nacho Average Stamp Camp!!

Good morning!!  Here are the projects I promised to share with you!  Each quarter, I hold a stamp camp for my great group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators!  It's always such a blast!!

This first project was a CASE of a project by Robin Messinheimer--it's a tea bag holder!  I thought the saying from "Favorite Thoughts" worked perfectly for this project!!

We used Pink Flamingo Designer paper for the tea cup, and the inside:

The second project was a double matchbox treat holder:

I used the Raspberry Lemonade Designer Paper, along with the Razzle Dazzle Stamp Set.  The sentiment is from It's Your Birthday.  And, colors used were Pumpkin Pie and Rich Razzleberry.  Here's a peek at the inside:

 

And, the third project was done with the Big Shot and the Petal Card Die:

I used the Tall Tales Designer Paper for this one!  The bottom (or inside) of the gift card holder was run through the crimper--this makes it just a bit smaller so that it will fit!  This is an old idea--we used to do this with envelopes, too!  And, the flower was made with the scallop, 1 1/4" and 1" circle punches!!

Teacher Gifts!!

Good morning!!  It's been a busy week for me, but so much fun!!!  Recently, I've had several people approach me to do custom orders for them!!  I'm so excited because I get to stamp!!! :-)  Here's one of the orders I had--two teacher name-frames:

I had given these as gifts last year, and one of the recipients liked hers so much, she wanted to give them to her child's teachers!!  Thrilled me!!!

Club Project!!!!

Isn't this the cutest little box of flowers?  I am so excited!! 

 

One of the girls in my club requested that we make the box on page 138 of the Idea Book & Catalog.  Well, I wasn't sure how the box was made, and I didn't the right color of tissue paper!  So, I made this one!!  I used Taken with Teal, Apricot Appeal and Certainly Celery.  The box is made with the #2 Box Die and Big Shot.  Then, I trimmed off the top flaps and made it about 1 1/2" tall.  I covered it with punch outs I made with the Word Window punch.  Here's a close up of the flowers (they're Dum Dum's covered in tissue):
