WOW!  Can you believe it's already Thanksgiving?!!  Christmas will be here before you know it!!  I hope you're all enjoying a wonderful day with family and friends!!

Sketch Frenzy Friday!

Hi all, and welcome to Friday!!  We have a fun sketch today brought to you by ME! :-)

Here's what I came up with:

Very little stamping--just the main image!  and, it's done with Wicked Cool and Peach Parfait and Black Stazon ink!  simple, simple!  The other two "side" panels are actually cut out from one of the designs from the Pick Your Poison Designer Paper!  I just punched them out with my 1 1/4" square punch!!  I can't believe Halloween is almost here!  I've really enjoyed stamping for Halloween!

Stampin' Queens Sketch -- Week 10!

Good morning, and Happy Wednesday!!  Today's card is a simple one, based on the Stampin' Queens' Week #10 Sketch:

and my card:

I did flip the sketch--I didn't want to cover up the chandelier!  This paper is from the Pick Your Poison Designer Paper--I love that's it's all done for me!! :-)  I just cut it out and adhered it to my Peach Parfait card base!!

I added a little Very Vanilla Ribbon--sponged with Black Stazon ink.  Then, my sentiment, from Wicked Cool!

I told you it was simple! :-)

Divas Sketch Challenge #159

Happy Saturday!!  I'm busy now, getting ready for our Stampin' Up! Regional event right here in Albuquerque!!  I am presenting a workshop wow, and I am sooooo nervous!!  Wish me luck!!  At least I'll be sitting--that will help!  Plus, Stampin' Up! demonstrators are all so nice--they wouldn't laugh at me, would they?!! LOL!!

I love this one--nice and simple, but lots of possibilities!!

Look!!  I found another Halloween stamp in my stash!!  It's in the Sweet Centers Stamp Set!  Isn't it cute?  The paper is called Frightful Sight, and is in the "big" catalog!  Colors are Cajun Craze and Basic Black!

Saturday Sketch Challenge #226

Are you ready for another Saturday Sketch Challenge?  The ladies over at Stamping 411 have a great one for you today:

I wanted to go with Halloween, so here's what I came up with:

I started with the Pick Your Poison Designer Paper (found in the Holiday Mini), and used that for my colors!  The card base is Basic Black, and the next layer is Peach Parfait!  I then used three different patterns from the designer paper.  For the sentiment, I went to my Halloween "stand by"--Wicked Cool!  I stamped the spider web in Peach Parfait, then the words in Black Stazon.  Punched it out with the Decorative Label Punch.  It didn't "pop" enough, so I sponged some Black Stazon ink along the edges--love the effect!  The ribbon is also Peach Parfait!!

Other three cards..........

Hi!!  Here are the other three cards that we made at the October Stamp-a-Stack!!  These were all CASE'd from other creative geniuses!!  (CASE:  copy and share everything)

I loved the layout of this card by Mary Brown, but I changed the colors up a bit!   I used Marina Mist, River Rock and Cherry Cobbler.

This card was originally done by Jen Sannes.  I fell in love with it's simplicity--but it still had some bling!!  That silver glimmer paper gets me everytime--I LOVE it!!

I think this was everyone's favorite card!  They loved all the textures and colors!  The original can be found on Mindy Bingamon's blog!

Divas Sketch Challenge #158

It's the weekend!!!  Woohoo!!  Do you have any big plans?  Whatever you're doing, hope you enjoy it!

Our sketches for October are done by Elizabeth--here's this week's:

and, my card:

I love Halloween!!  It's such a fun holiday, don't you think?!  I stared with a Peach Parfait card base (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2"), then added a piece of Basic Black (4" x 5 1/4") that was run through the Big Shot with the Spider Web embossing folder.  At the bottom is a piece of Pick Your Poison Designer Paper (4" x 1 3/4").  I used the Scalloped Edge Punch to add a little interest!  It still looked a bit plain, so I added a strip of Rhinestones!!  Do you see how straight they are?  Yes, I'm good!!  haha!!  Here's the trick--I used the template from the Mat Pack!  Just line it up, then use a pen/pencil to mark your "dots" across the card.  Then add your rhinestones over the dots--quick and easy and perfectly lined up!

For the sentiment, I stamped the "Spooky" from Wicked Cool, then punched it out with the Decorative Label punch.   The witch's hat was stamped on a scrap of Whisper White, then cut out with the paper snips.  I added another Decorative Label punched from Pumpkin Pie--one punch, then cut in half--behind the white.  The ribbon was tied in a bow, then attached with a mini glue dot!

Stampin' Queens Sketch -- Week 8!

Happy Wednesday!!  You know what Wednesdays mean!!  Yep, another sketch from the Stampin' Queens!!  I love this week's sketch:

Nice, clean and simple!!  Here's my card:

How cool is that bat?!!!  It's found in the Pick Your Poison Designer Paper!  I just trimmed around it so that it would fit on the card!  Super simple! LOL!  For the sentiment, I stamped on Vellum Cardstock with Black Stazon ink, then attached it to the card using the 3 Peach Parfait Glimmer brads!

Here are you measurements:

Peach Parfait:  4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2"

Basic Black:  4" x 5 1/4"

Pick Your Poison DSP:  3 7/8" x 4 1/2";  3 7/8" x 3/4" (punched with scallop edge punch)

Cardstock Vellum:  scrap for punch!

Fun Halloween!!

Happy Tuesday!!  It's a bit drizzly here, but so nice!!  I love the cool, crisp air of October!

Here's a card my Card Club made last night:

I used the Wicked Cool Stamp Set, along with the Pick Your Poison Designer Paper from the Holiday Mini Catalog!  Great card for scraps!!

Measurements:

Pumpkin Pie cardstock:  4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2";  scrap for scallop circle!

Pick Your Poison Designer Paper:  each piece is 4 1/4" x 1"

Naturals Ivory:  scrap for 1 1/4" circle punch--be sure to stamp first, then punch!

Basic Black:  scrap for 1 3/8" circle punch

Black Stain Ribbon:  6".  I simply placed a piece of Sticky Strip on my card, then laid my ribbon down, "scrunching" as I worked my way across!

This layout could be used for ANY card/holiday/theme!!  In fact, my inspiration came from Jen's card HERE -- she used the Spice Cake Designer Paper!!

Nacho Average Stamp Camp!!

Good morning!!!  I hope everyone has enjoyed their weekend so far!  Ours was alot of fun!  Friday night, I held my quarterly stamp camp for my downline--fun, fun, fun!!!  Yesterday, my son and I hung out at the state fair for a few hours!  It was a blast!! 

So, here is one of the projects that the ladies made on Friday night (I'll share more tomorrow!):

This is the faux tile technique--it's so easy, especially since we have our wonderful Simply Scored tools now!!  You just score your cardstock at certain intervals (we used 1/2") horizontally and vertically.  I advise using the smaller end of your scoring stylus--creates deeper scores.  Then, sponge lightly with your colors, then stamp!!  easy peasy!  We even stamped the inside:

Here are the supplies used and measurements:

Gently Falling and Word Play Stamp Sets

Ink:  Garden Green, Not Quite Navy and Pumpkin Pie

Cardstock:

Garden Green:  4 1/4" x 11, scored at 5 1/2"

Pumpkin Pie:  2 1/8" x 5 1/4" (embossed with the Houndstooth embossing folder and Big Shot)

Not Quite Navy:  4 1/4" x 3 1/4"

Naturals White:  4" x 3", 4 x 5 1/4"
