A year in review, continued!!

Good morning!!  I've got a big pot of chili in the crockpot, and am ready to enjoy the day!!  Here are the next four months of the Year in Review!!  Enjoy!

May:

I didn't put titles--so everyone could do their own thing!  I'll use mine for Mother's day!  Color sare Pear Pizzazz and White, with the Paisley Petals Designer Paper.

June:

Need for Speed & Best Dad Ever Stamp Sets.  Colors are Not Quite Navy and Early Espresso,

July:

Colors are Night of Navy, Whisper White and Real Red!!  Used the Big Shot for the letters!!

August:

Under the Stars Stamp set;  colors are crumb cake and chocolate chip!

A Year in Review

A week or so ago, I held my "A Year in Review" scrapbooking class!!  We made a 2-page spread for each month of the year, plus a front and back page!!  Here are some of the pages!!  If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask:  stampinmama@comcast.net

Albuquerque Regionals!

We had so much fun yesterday, and learned so much!!!  Not sure how they fit so much into just 4 hours!  I was lucky enough to be chosen as a Workshop Wow presenter, and I showed "masking", but with a twist! I used our window sheets, and punched shapes out.  These were my templates!!  Then, I simply sponged, then masked with post its, then sponged some more!!

Here are some of the samples I showed:

I used the Modern Label and Curly Label punches for the border at the bottom.  colors are Real Red and Marina Mist. 

This one was fun!!  I first sponged all the cirlcles (1" circle punch).  Mask these with post it notes.  Now, sponge all the squares (1" square).  Mask these with post its--but, don't remove the circles!!  Now, sponge over all the masks, to fill in!!  Colors are Peach Parfait, Pear Pizzazz and Concord Crush!

Another Layout (6x6)

Good morning!  Here's the last layout we did with my Scrapbooking Club!

Colors for this one are Peach Parfait and Whisper White!   I used the Designer Series Paper Pack (In color).  It's one of the Level One Hostess choices!  The flowers were punched with the wonderful new Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch!  These punches are soooo much fun!  The "banner" at the bottom was left blank on purpose--so they can add their own title or journaling!

The new Scrapbook Club will start up again in August, and run through May 2012.  Here are the meeting dates (all Sundays @ 2pm):  (We'll make two 2-page, 8x8 spreads each month)

Travel Log--get ready for summer scrapbooking!

Today is my Scrapbook Club meeting--the last one for this round!  I'm always a bit sad when my clubs end--they are always so much fun for me, and the ladies are so nice!  But, we'll start up again in August!!  Would you like to join us next round?  It's so much fun!  We make two 2-page spreads each month. This round, we did 6x6, but next year, we're going to do 8x8.   Your requirement is to spend $20 each month (before ship/tax).  That's it!  We meet at my house each month, and you'll get to be the hostess (and get FREE stuff) one of the months!!  Just drop me an email if you're interested!! @ stampinmama@comcas.net.

Okay, on to the stamping!

This was done with the new stamp set, Travel Log!  The design for this page came from a sample I saw on the Stampin' Connection--a forum for SU! demonstrators!  Lots of great ideas!  This one came from Melany Watson!

Supplies used:  Travel Log Stamp Set;  Night of Navy, Cherry Cobbler & Very Vanilla Cardstock;  Night of Navy & Cherry Cobbler Classic Ink Pads;  Paper Snips!

My Digital Studio!

Look what I made!!!  And, it's all done in My Digital Studio!!

It's done as a 11 x 8.5 scrapbook page!  The only thing that isn't Stampin' Up! is the baseball behind his name.   I love the way it turned out!  I've enjoyed playing with the My Digital Studio--I think I will finally get some of my scrapbooking done!!  And, for May, the individual pages are 30% off!  Bonus!!! haha!!

Good Morning!!

Did you miss me yesterday?!  Had a great time at the Stamp-a-Stack!!  It's always fun to stamp with friends!

Today's share is from my Scrapbook Club--they met last Sunday, and I'm just now getting the pictures up!  It's been VERY windy here, and it makes it hard for me to take pictures.  I take my pics outside, and when the wind is up, the projects won't sit still!! haha!!

Anyway, these are both 6x6 spreads.  I'm going to do 8x8 next round--so we have more space for stamping!!  (if you're insterested, email me @ stampinmama@comcast.net)

This first highlights the Sneak Peek items for April!  I love the Four Frames Stamp set, as well as the Paisley Petals Designer Paper.  The colors are soooo pretty!!!  I used Peach Parfait and Baja Breeze for these pages.

This second spread is just for Dad's!!

I didn't use designer paper on this one, so I had to choose my own colors!!  (yikes!!)  But, I have my trusty Color Coach, and it told me to use Night of Navy, Old Olive and Daffodil Delight!  I like it!!

another Scrapbook Club Page!

Good morning!  I had such a great day yesterday!  We took the train up to Santa Fe with my son's middle school advanced orchestra--they played at the Capitol!!!  And, we had lots of time to "play" in Santa Fe before and after the performance!  Had a wonderful breakfast, and saw some fun things!  The highlight was visiting the Chuck Jones Gallery--we met his grandson!!!!  He was the nicest person, and even signed a DVD set for my son!  He was thrilled!  I grew up with Looney Tunes, and can now share that with my sons!

Here's another 2-page spread we made on Sunday with my scrapbook club!

I used the 12x12 designer paper from the Ice Cream Parlor pack!  I love the bright colors!  I used the 5-Petal Flower punch, and punched out flowers from the same designer paper, as well as daffodil delight and peach parfait cardstock.  The daffodil delight flowers were run through the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder to add some texture.  I then stamped the peach parfait flowers with the swirl stamp from the Priceless stamp set.   The butterflies were made using the Big Shot and Beautiful Wings embosslit.  (with pacific point cardstock)

What do you think?  I love the way it turned out!!

Scrapbook Club!!

Happy Monday!!  It's Spring Break here, so my posts may be a little later this week!!  It's so nice to be able to sleep in a bit!!

Always Elegant Stamp Set (you can get this FREE with a $50 purchase!!)

Regal Rose Cardstock and Ink;  Whisper White Cardstock and Satin Ribbon

Pearls

For the ribbon, I placed a strip of Sticky Strip down, then started on one end--press your ribbon down, then twist it, then press down again!!  Really easy!
