Gorgeous Leaves

  • Thick Basic White: 5 ½” x 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”;  4” x 5 ¼”, ½” x 3”
  • Soft Succulent: 3 ½” x 2 ½”

  1. Die cut Maple Leaf with Soft Succulent cardstock and the detailed maple leaf die.
  2. Using the Pale Papaya ink, stamp 3 small leaves as shown in photo – note that one of the leaves will be stamped in the middle of the card and will be somewhat covered by the ribbon/words.
  3. Stamp a maple leaf with Soft Succulent Ink. Use the dot cluster stamp with Crumb Cake Ink to fill in some of the space around the leaves.
  4. Emboss this panel with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.
  5. Adhere the die cut leaf to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. To create dimension of the leaf, don’t put glue on the ends of the leaf so that it’s not completely flat.
  6. Stamp the words from the Inspired Thoughts stamp set with Soft Succulent Ink onto the small word panel.
  7. Use Paper Snips to “flag” the ends of the word panel. Attach to a length of the Diamond Weave Ribbon with Mini Glue Dots.
  8. Use a glue dot to attach a swirl of Linen Thread onto the card front, positioning as shown.
  9. Attach the word and ribbon panel to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  10. To finish the card, embellish with two of the Brushed Metallic Adhesive Back Dots.

Cutest Halloween

This really is a cute set!!

  • Pumpkin Pie: 8 ½” x 5 ½”
  • Smoky Slate: 5” x 3 ¾”
  • Basic Black: 4 7/8” x 3 5/8”
  • Basic White: 5 ¼” x 4”, scraps for sentiment, jack-o-lantern & ghost,
  • Ribbon: 8“
  • Cute Halloween DSP: scraps

  1. Fold Pumpkin Pie card stock in half. Flatten fold with bone folder.
  2. Use the Picture This die with the circles to die cut circles out of the piece of Basic Black card stock. Use the cut out circles as cutting guides. Cut pieces from the DSP slightly larger than the die cut circles using the paper snips. Cut one piece of Basic White that is slightly larger than it’s corresponding circle & stamp “Trick or Treat” on it with Black ink.
  3. Stamp the jack-o-lantern and the ghost on scrap pieces of Basic White using Black ink.
Stamp the inside of the jack-o-lantern using Pumpkin Pie ink. Color the stem with a Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends.  Punch out images using the Halloween punch.  A post-it-note may be helpful to align the image in the punch.
  4. Adhere DSP and sentiment to Smoky Slate piece using multi-purpose liquid glue. Use black piece as a guide – trim & layer the DSP underneath so that it resembles the picture. Adhere Basic Black piece over Smoky Slate piece using several dimensionals and then adhere to card front.  Attach jack-o-lantern and ghost with dimensionals.
  5. Make a bow with the gingham ribbon and attach to card front with a mini glue dot.
  6. Stamp remaining Basic White card stock piece as desired and adhere to inside of card.

In Bloom for CI108

Good morning!  My club meets this afternoon--it's always a great time with these ladies!  Each month, we do a card swap, and October's theme was "Female Birthday Cards".  I was having trouble coming up with an idea, so decided to use a Challenge to help me out!  Colour Inkspirations had a bright and fun color combination, so went with that to create this card:

Oct swap tammy

I used the In Bloom Stamp Set and coordinating dies, Pierced Blooms.  Certainly a happy card, don't you think?
