Okay, I am doing the correct sketch this time!!  I love this one as well, and I needed a masculine birthday card, so it all worked out!!!

Again, I used the Western Sky Designer Paper!  (hey, it was out on my desk!! heehee!!)  But, this time I used the Happy Everything stamp set. 

I couldn't get the sentiment to show up in the full picture, so..........

I edited it so you could see it up close.  I guess the sun was too bright, and "washed out" the River Rock ink!  Hope you can get a better idea from this shot!

Good morning!!  I actually had a few minutes to stamp this morning, so I tried out Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge!  I love this sketch--I'll have to try some more cards using it!!

I used the "Wanted" & "All Holidays" stamp sets.  Colors used were River Rock, Blue Bayou and Whisper White.  The Designer Paper is "Western Sky"--one of my favorites, as I'm sure you all know!! :-)

Good morning!!  I finished prepping for my April Card club last night, and wanted to share one of the cards!  This was done with no stamping whatsoever!!!  I used the "Love & Happiness" rubons from the Sale-a-bration mini catalog.  And, because these are no longer available, I'm letting them keep the rest of the sheet!!  Just a little thank you to this great group of gals!!!

I used Pretty in Pink, Basic Black and Whisper White cardstock.  All images are rubons!!  The ribbon is black gingham.

Good morning!  I've been so busy the last few days!  I am making centerpieces for a church dinner, and am trying to stay ahead of the game!!  Here's what I've come up with for part of it:

They're doing a cruise theme, so I used the retired hostess set, Island Blossoms.  I simply stamped on vellum, then wrapped it around one of the tall glass candles, and tied a ribbon around it.  This was my prototype--for the rest, I'm going to get some really bright ribbon to match the ink!

Hi!  I have one last item to share from the baby shower I attended on Saturday!!  I made these as party favors!  My friend (the hostess) called me Wednesday, needing a cute party favor.  Well, time was short, so it had to be fairly quick and simple.  This is a simple candy bar holder! 

The pink cardstock measures 4 1/2 x 4 1/4", and is scored at 2" and 2 1/4" (on the long side).  Then, I used sticky strip or glue dots to hold the candy bar in place!  The scalloped circle is attached using stampin' dimensionals, and the ribbon is slipped under that!  So simple, but cute!!

Hi!  I just finished a Chat & Challenge on SUDSOL!!  Here's what I came up with:

I used Embrace Life--stamped the flower with Black Stazon, and colored in with Real Red and Wild Wasabi!!  Quick and simple!!!

Good morning!!  This is the handmade portion of my baby shower gift!!  I can't just give store bought stuff!!!  That wouldn't be right!!  haha!!!  This is a 6x6 post bound brag book.   I used the "Special Delivery Girl" Simply Scrappin' Kit--boy, are these easy to work with!!!  I really love the colors in this one:  Apricot Appeal, Groovy Guava, River Rock & Sahara Sand.  Looks so sweet and old-fashioned!

Here's the front cover.  I used one long strip of Groovy Guava ribbon, then tied on many, many scraps of the other matching ribbons.  This was my friend, Pami's idea--love it!!  The letters are adhesive die-cuts, but I went ahead and put them through my xyron, just to make sure.  Still not sure how long it will last--we'll have to see!

   Pages 2 & 3.  The left side has a tag where she can add all the important data!!

Pages 6 & 7.  These are very simple pages, but I thought they would look so cute with a black & white photo!!

Pages 8 & 9

This is the only stamping throughout the entire book!!  I used the "happy" from Fundamental Phrases!  The hardware is from the aged copper hardware.

Pages 10 & 11. 

I tried to leave some room for journaling all those emotions you go through as a brand new mommy!

Pages 12 & 13. 

I know the right hand page is VERY plain.  BUT, I'm going to give the new mom the extra adhesive die-cutes from the kit--she can add some flowers after she puts the pictures in!

These were supposed to be mirror-images of each other, but I put the ribbon on wrong!!  I still like the eay it turned out!  She can journal in all the blank space!!

Pages 18 & 19

I think these are my favorite pages!!  Again, the left page is for journaling.  I just love the flowers on the left side--so cheery!!

Last but not least!!  I've always liked this nursery rhyme, so thought it would be a cute ending to the book.  And, if the new mom doesn't want it, she can always put a picture over it!! :-)

I'm going to a baby shower this afternoon!!  Here is the gift bag I made for the gifts I purchased.  She's having a girl, and it was so much fun shopping for all PINK!!!  :-)  Now don't get me wrong--I love my boys--I'm a good "boy mom", but it is fun to shop for girls every now and again!!  We got booties, caps, onesies, socks--all cute little stuff and all pink!!  So, the bag had to match!!

I used the large flower from "Just Like You", and the saying is from Curvy Verses.  It's all stamped in Pretty in Pink! 

Here is the card I made.  It's 4x4, and is slipped into a vellum pocket.  I tied the ribbon around the vellum pocket, then adhered it to the bag with stick strip.  Then, just slip the gift card in!!
