Divas Sketch Challenge #105

It's Saturday!!  Hooray!!  And, time for another fun sketch over the Utah Divas International Blog!!

This was a great sketch for using up scraps!!  And I had alot of the Wicked Fun DSP scraps!!  I really love this paper--such great colors!!  I also used Wicked Cool for my stamp set.  It's a fun one, too!  The ink is Rich Razzleberry and Basic Black.  Those are the colors of cardstock I used, too!!  Pretty simple, huh?!!!

Be sure to hop along to Tiffany's BLOG, and see what she created!  (I'm sure it's beautiful!!)

Have a great day!  It's a busy one here, but all good!!

Good morning!!  Here are the last two cards from my Stamp-a-stack last weekend!!  These two were CASE'd from cards I'd seen on the web!!

This idea came from Deb -- she's one of my favorite artists--simple and beautiful cards!!

And, from another of my favorites, Jill, comes this gorgeous card!  I love the ribbon!!!

That's it for today!!  I'm off to get organized for my club meetings this weekend!!!  Hope you all have a GREAT day!!

Happy Wednesday!!!  Today is a Color Challenge over at the Divas Coffee Break Design Blog!!!  It's a gorgeous color combo:

And, here's my card:

Aren't these colors just gorgeous together?!!  I love them!  I used Autumn Splendor Stamp set along with Marina Mist Grosgrain Ribbon!  And, of course, cardstock and ink in the colors of the challenge!!  Very simple card--would be an easy card to make alot of!  Here's the inside:

Just used the Decorative Label punch, and the Curly Cute stamp set for the sentiment!!

Have a GREAT day!

Such fun!!

What a great bunch of ladies I had over yesterday!!  We had a blast making six Halloween cards!!  I think they liked all the cards!  Here are two more of the cards we made:

This one was my favorite:

I made a stencil using the Bat Punch and scrap cardstock, then, using sponge daubers, sponged on all the bats!  I used Peach Parfait, Concord Crush and Pear Pizzazz--they look so good together!!!  Just a hint--it's easier to have a separate "stencil" for each color of ink.  Or, start with the lightest color.  Otherwise, you'll get a mix of colors.

The "BOO" was cut out using the Big Shot and the Serif Essential Alphabet Dies.

This is a great card to do if you have lots of scraps of your designer paper.  I used the Wicked Fun Specialty Paper, layered onto Basic Black.  The card base is Old Olive and the scallop oval is Rich Razzleberry.  The "Happy Halloween" is from the All Holidays stamp set.  And, of course, I used the Bat Punch--who knew I would use this punch so much!!! :-)  I also added little bat eyes with a white gel pen!!

Stop by tomorrow for the last two cards!

My next class is my 'Tis the Season Mini Camp!  We'll make three fun projects for only $20!!  For all the details, and to register, click HERE.  But, hurry--there are only 5 spots left!!!

Have a GREAT day!

Halloween Cards!!!

Good morning!!  Here are a couple of the cards we're making at my Halloween Stamp-a-stack this afternoon!

This is a really simple card made using the Spider Web embossing folder!  The sentiment is from Wicked Cool.  Colors used are Pumpkin Pie and Basic Black!!  I did add a rhinestone right in the middle of the spider's web!!

I love this card!!  I pulled out my Loads of Love set for it!!  I love this set!  I stamped with Black Stazon, then colored in using the Watercolor pencils!  It creates a nice soft look!!

I'm off to get set up for the ladies!!  If you'd like to come to class, check out my offerings HERE

Have a GREAT day!

Divas Sketch Challenge #104

Happy weekend!!  As you read this, I'm at our last Legion Baseball game for the fall!  The season only lasts 5 weeks--they play a doubleheader each Saturday.  I love watching my boys play--baseball, tennis, golf--doesn't matter to me!

I really had fun with today's sketch (you can see it HERE).  I don't know how Carol comes up with all these, but I sure do enjoy working with them!!

I started this card by picking the designer paper.  I used the Greenhouse Gala--love the colors!!  Then, the rest was easy!!  Just used the coordinating stamp set, Friends Never Fade, and layered it all up!  That big button is found in the Holiday Mini Catalog--it's about an  inch in diameter, and really makes a statement, don't you think?  I tied the 1/8" Real Red Taffeta ribbon through it to add some color.

Other supplies:

Cardstock:  Pear Pizzazz, Real Red, Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip, Naturals white.

Ink:  Real Red

Misc:  Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder & Big Shot

Hop on over to Tiffany's blog!!

WOW!!  You guys blew me away with your response to the Clearance Rack!!!  Thank you so much for all the orders!  And, keep checking back--they're adding more items all the time!!  Click HERE to get to my Stampin' Up! website, then click on the Shop Now button in the top right hand corner!

I've been busy, busy, busy stamping thank you's for those that placed orders!!  Here's the card I'm sending for October:

This card is a CASE of a card I made a couple of weeks ago (see it HERE) but I changed the colors!  For this card I used Perfect Plum, Always Artichoke and Cajun Craze.  I love these colors together!!  Not a combo I would've put together on my own, but I used my handy dandy Color Coach!!  It's my favorite tool!! :-)

Today is my wedding anniversary!  We're going to spend the day with the boys--shopping, lunch, etc!!  Doesn't that sound great!!  Hope you all have a wonderful day!!
