Yes, Two Days in a Row!!!

Two Challenges in One!

Good morning!  I'm so sorry for the lack of posts lately.  I have no excuse--well, I can come up with a million excuses, but none of them good ones!  I've just been in a funk lately!  Not in life, just in stamping!  Have you ever gone through that--where you have no creativity, and you really just don't care to find it?  That was me.  So, I gave myself some time "off" -- I've spent the last couple of weeks just ignoring my stamp studio and not beating myself up for it!  Well, this week, I had to get ready for my awesome stamp clubs.  I was happily suprised to find that I enjoyed being in the studio again!!  It was so much fun coming up with the cards for club!  And then yesterday, I went down just for fun!!!  I played with a few challenges I found on the web, and I got caught up with some design team work!  It felt so good!!!

So, without further ado, here's a card I made for the Freshly Made Sketch and the Dynamic Duos Challenges:

and, my card:

It took me a few tries to get that sentiment straight!!  I was too stubborn (or lazy?) to get out my stamp-a-ma-jig!! haha!!  Here are the supplies I used:

  • Petite Petals Stamp Set (133152w or 133155c)
  • Express Yourself Hostess Stamp Set (130336w or 130339c)
  • Tangerine Tango Classic Ink (126946)
  • Tangerine Tango Cardstock (111349)
  • Melon Mambo Classic Ink (126948)
  • Melon Mambo Cardstock (115320)
  • Wild Wasabi Classic Ink (126959)
  • Wild Wasabi Cardstock (108641)
  • Basic Black Cardstock (121045)
  • Whisper White Cardstock (100730)
  • Black Stazon Ink (101406)
  • Rhinestone Basic Jewels (119246)

Such a tasty-looking card! I was drooling when I saw the names and colours for this week's challenge. I like that you let each colour "speak for itself" by creating a hand-stamped panel. The black accents help those colours really pop! Thanks for playing along with the Dynamic Duos this week.
