Nacho Average Challenge #98

Good morning, and Happy Tuesday!  I am very sad today--everyone (and I mean EVERYone except poor little me!) is getting packed for their trip to Salt Lake City for the Stampin' Up! Convention!!  I'm so jealous!!!  But, I'm sure my awesome friends around the globe will share all the fun stuff they learn, so all is not lost!! :-)

Today's challenge from the Nachos is a Color Challenge--a very romantic one!

and, here's my card--romantic is not really my forte, but I gave it the 'ole college try!

I hope you like it!!  I used Everything Eleanor stamp set!  Love this set--not sure why it stayed on the back shelf so long!!

Hey--we're making this at my class on Friday night or Saturday morning!!  Only 2 spots left!!  Email me if you'd like to join us!!

Window Pane Card!!

Found a new challenge awhile back, but haven't been able to actually play along until today!!  Here's their most recent challenge (you can see their blog HERE):

and, here's my card:

I just got my order of designer paper--I love this Back to Black!! Such cool patterns, and all in Black and White!  You can pair it with any color you'd like!  I really love the new Hello Honey In Color, so chose that to use for this card!  The stamp set is the new Flower Patch set--a photopolymer set!  I really like the clear stamps--soooo easy to use!!

This card will be one of the cards we make at the Stamp-a-Stack next weekend!  There are only 2 spots left, so register soon!!!  Click HERE for all the details!!

Nacho Average Challenge #97

Good morning!  It's time for another sketch challenge from the Nachos!!

As usual, it's a fairly simple sketch--lots of room for creativity!!

I flipped the sketch--it worked better with my image!  I used the Swallowtail stamps, and colored in with my Stampin' Write Markers.  The sentiment is from the hostess set, I Like You, and the swirls are from Everything Eleanor.  Funny--I've had this set in my "stash" for awhile, but have just recently starting using it alot!  Go figure!! haha!!

Be sure you click on over to the Nacho Blog and play along!!!  Tell 'em I sent you!

Another Patriotic Card!

Here's a card I made for two challenges:

Color Throwdown

and, the One Layer Simplicity Challenge:

Here's what I did:

I used the three colors:  Very Vanilla (cardstock), Tempting Turquoise (ink) and Strawberry Slush (ink).  The sentiment is from the new Bravo stamp set.  The stripes and stars were done using the new Decorative Masks (pg 205). I used one from each package!

Happy Fourth of July!!!!
