CARD: Country Home Sunburst

Measurements:  

  • Blackberry Bliss: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”           
  • Crushed Curry: 5 1/4” x 4”
  • Whisper White: 5” x 3 3/4”, scrap
  • DSP: Up to 10 pieces of 1 ½” x 6”       

Instructions:

  1. With your paper trimmer cut all of the DSP in half diagonally on the 1 ½” side. You will have very long (6”) triangles.
  2. Place all of your triangles on your Whisper White CS. All of the points should be pointing to the right side in the middle. Glue them down when you are happy with their placement. Flip the card over and trim all of the excess DSP.
  3. Stamp the watering can and the flowers onto the scrap of white CS. Stamp the label on the scrap and fussy cut it out. Cut the watering out can with the stiched shapes thinlit.
  4. Cut the scallop oval from the middle of your Crushed Curry CS.
  5. Color as desired with Stampin’ Blends.
  6. Layer the oval and the scalloped oval. Glue to the white, sun ray layer.
  7. Trim the oval even with the side of the white CS.
  8. Layer the rest of the card together.

As I'm planning my last Christmas Card Class (on Dec 2!), I realized that I hadn't shared the cards we made in the first two classes!  So, here goes!!   This is the first one we made, using Dashing Deer!

Peaceful Poinsettia Bag & Card

I'm slowly getting through all 8 projects that we did at our Holiday Stamp Camp in September!  Here's a beautiful gift bag, along with a sweet 3x3 card!  The Peaceful Poinsettia is such an elegant stamp set!  It's so easy to color with our Stampin' Blends!

Dandelion Wishes in Navy and Gold

I was determined to use these beautiful Foil Edged Cards & Envelopes for my October club!  But, I wanted to do something other than Christmas.  Not sure this is great, but it's quick and easy! haha!  I stamped with Night of Navy ink onto Shimmery White cardstock, then added a gold metallic pearl.  It's very sparkly in real life!!
