CARD: Elegantly Suited, Masculine!

ELEGANTLYSUITED

Measurements

  • Very Vanilla: 4 ¼ x 11 folded in half for card base, 3 x 5, 3 x 5 (for die cutting)
  • Simply Elegant (dotted gray pattern): 3 x 5, plus scrap for die cutting collar
  • Simply Elegant (paisley pattern): 2 x 4 or scrap (for die cutting)

Instructions :

  1. Cut a “V” into one side of the card base with matching die, then add a strip of tear and tape to the inside right and left edges of the card. Press closed (card will be sealed on these sides and at the fold, with the only opening at the 4 ¼ inch side.)
  2. Stamp the Birthday sentiment on one of the Very Vanilla pieces, and adhere to the dotted gray pattern paper (same size)
  3. Slip this piece into the opening in the card base with the pattern side showing through the “V”
  4. Cut a collar from the scrap of dotted pattern paper and adhere to the top of the matching paper.
  5. Cut a tie, knot, and collar (for pocket scarf) from the paisley pattern paper.
  6. Cut lapels, a pocket and buttons from the other Very Vanilla piece.
  7. Adhere each of these die cut pieces to the card to create your suit, being sure to add the scarf to the back of the pocket before adhering the pocket.

CARD: Batik Boutique

BATIKBOUTIQUE

Measurements:

  • Blushing Bride CS: 4-1/4” x 11”; scored at 5-1/2”
  • Basic Gray CS: 4” x 5-1/4”
  • Simply Elegant DSP: 3-3/4” x 5”
  • Rose Gold Metallic Paper: 2-1/4” x 2-1/2”
  • Pearlescent Paper: 1-3/4” x 1-3/4”

Instructions:

  1. Fold Blushing Bride CS on score lines to create card base.
  2. Adhere Simply Elegant DSP to Basic Gray CS.
  3. Add ribbon to bottom of Basic Gray CS unit then adhere to card base.
  4. Die cut Rose Gold Metallic Paper with Ornate Frames die. Add to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  5. Stamp small flower stems on Pearlescent Paper with Basic Gray ink.  Use Heat Tool to dry ink.
  6. Color flowers with Light Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blend. Color leaves with Old Olive Light and Dark Stampin’ Blends.
  7. Die cut stamped Pearlescent paper with Ornate Frames die.  Adhere to Rose Gold Metallic die cut.
  8. Finish with Gold Metallic Pearls and Pastel Pearls on card front as shown and Very Vanilla CS on inside.

CARD: Garden Birdhouses

GARDENBIRDHOUSES

Measurements

  • Just Jade: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” scored at 4-1/4”
  • Basic White: 1-1/4” x 2-1/4” scrap for sentiment
  • Basic Black: 4-1/8” x 5-3/8”
  • Poppy Parade: 1-1/2” x 1-1/2” scrap for birds
  • Designer Series Paper: 4” x 5-1/4”
  • Black Baker’s Twine: 30”

Instructions:

  1. Stamp the three birdhouses and poles as shown on the Designer Series Paper in Momento Black ink. Color with Stampin’ Blends and adhere completed panel to the black layer.
  2. Wrap Baker’s Twine around panel three times towards the bottom of panel and adhere to back. Cut three pieces of remaining twine 4” long. Tie all three in a knot around the existing twine and trim the ends. Add a Mini Glue Dot to hold in place. Unravel the six ends of the twine and “fluff”.
  3. Adhere the completed panel to card base.
  4. Stamp the greeting on the scrap of Basic White in Just Jade ink and cut out with the appropriate die. Adhere to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals as shown.
  5. Cut two birds from the scrap of Poppy Parade cardstock and adhere with Mini Glue Dots using the photo for placement. Dot the eye on each bird with the black marker.

CARD: Art in Bloom

WOW!  Isn't this a gorgeous card!  This bundle makes it easy!!

ARTINBLOOM

Measurements

  • Granny Apple Green: 4-1/4” x 11”, folded in half for card base
  • Basic White: 4” x 5 ¼” plus scrap for banner
  • Pale Papaya Shimmer Vellum: 4” x 4”

Instructions:         

  1. Use embossing folder to emboss Basic White. Using Blending Brush lightly add Granny Apple Green to raised leaves.  Stamp over the larger leaves using Granny Apple Green ink and detailed leaf stamp.  Adhere the Basic White to the base card.
  2. Die cut and emboss the Vellum flowers at the same time. The die fits into the embossing folder around the flowers (on the part of the folder with the Stampin’ Up! logo) perfectly to cut and emboss!  Be sure the sparkly side of vellum faces YOU!
  3. Use a Blending Brush to add matching ink to the center of the flowers. Add the Vellum flowers over the top of the embossed  flowers (on the Basic White) using Liquid Glue.
  4. Stamp sentiment in Granny Apple Green, cut out with banner die. Add to base card.
  5. Add gems as desired.

CARD: Sweet Ice Cream Bundle

Measurements

  • Pool Party: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” card base, score at 4-1/4”; 5-1/4” x 4”; scrap for die-cut
  • DSP: 5-1/4” x 1”
  • Bermuda Bay: 4-1/8” x 3-1/8”
  • Basic White: 4” x 3”; scrap for popsicles
  • Ribbon: 7”

Instructions:

  1. Emboss the Pool Party layer with Dainty Diamonds texture.
  2. Adhere Ice Cream Corner DSP to bottom of the textured layer.
  3. Add Calypso Coral Ornate Garden Ribbon to top edge of DSP; secure ends on back. Mount to Pool Party card base.
  4. Stamp Sweet Ice Cream two-step popsicle images onto scrap Basic White cardstock. Stamp bottoms first, then tops in these color combos: Pool Party,Granny Apple Green, Blackberry Bliss/Calypso Coral and Calypso Coral/Mango Melody. Hand-cut with Paper Snips.
  5. Stamp the popsicle sticks in Crumb Cake ink onto the Basic White piece. Stamp Pool Party drips near the first stick. Adhere onto Bermuda Bay layer, then pop up popsicles with Dimensionals.
  6. Stamp Blackberry Bliss greeting onto a Pool Party Stitched Shapes die-cut. Pop up with Dimensionals.

Good morning!  I wanted to highlight another item that won't be available after June 30th -- this beautiful designer paper, Fine Art Floral!  The stamp set Art Gallery is in the 21-22 Annual Catalog, but not this paper!  Shop now to get yours before it sells out!

ARTGALLERY1A

Measurements

  • Flirty Flamingo CS: 5 ½ x 8 ½”
  • Basic White CS: (2) 3 x 5 ¼”, 3 ¼ x 3 ¼”; scrap for label
  • Old Olive CS; 3 ¼ x 3 ¼”l
  • Gold Foil: 3/8 x 3:
  • DSP: 1 x 5 ¼”

Instructions:

  1. Score Flirty Flamingo CS at 4 ¼ and 7 ½” on 8 ½” side.
  2. Emboss one piece of Basic White card stock with Painted Texture embossing folder. Adhere to the card front.
  3. Randomly stamp folded 1” flap of the card with a flower center stamp in flirty flamingo ink. Fold over and adhere over the embossed piece.
  4. Die cut largest stitched circle from basic white and corresponding scalloped circle from Old Olive card stocks.
  5. Stamp large flower in flirty flamingo ink on stitched circle. Stamp second layer in Poppy parade ink. Stamp leaves in old olive. Adhere 2 circled together, add to the card front with dimensionals.
  6. Stamp a sentiment in old olive ink. Die cut with label die. Adhere Gold foil strip behind the sentiment. Add to the card with dimensionals.
  7. Add large gold dot to the center of the flower and 2 small ones to the sentiment.
  8. Tie a bow and add to the flower with a glue dot.
  9. For inside: stamp a small flower on a second piece of basic white piece in flirty flamingo ink. Stamp flower center in Poppy Parade ink. Adhere to the inside of the card. Adhere DSP next to it.

CARD: Snailed It!

SNAILEDIT1

Measurement:

  • Basic White: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” scored at 4-1/4”
  • Basic White: 3” x 3” for stamping
  • Bermuda Bay: 3” x 3” die cut the 5th smallest layering circle
  • Snail Mail DSP: four rectangular postage stamp shapes

Instructions:

  1. Stamp the ‘You Snailed It’ greeting, using basic gray, multiple times over the center and the left side of the card base.
  2. Stamp the heart using real red ink on the card base.
  3. Punch out 4 rectangular postage stamp shapes from the dsp.
  4. Add the postage shapes to the card front.
  5. Add the die cut Bermuda circle to the card front.
  6. Stamp desired snail image using memento ink and colour in using blends & die cut.
  7. Add the snail to the card front using dimensionals.
  8. Die cut one of the hello speech bubbles from the dsp.
  9. Add speech bubble to the card front using dimensionals.
  10. Add a resin heart to the heart on the envelope.

CARD: Dragonfly Garden

I'm so happy this stamp set made the cut!  It's been carried over from the 2021 Jan-June Catalog to the 2021-22 Annual Catalog!!  BUT, not the designer paper!!  If you like this packet, be sure you get it before June 30th!!
DRAGONFLYGARDEN

Measurements

  • Misty Moonlight Card Stock: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2” scored at 4-1/4”  
  • Basic White Card Stock: 2-3/4” x 4-1/2”
  • Blackberry Bliss Card Stock: 2-1/4” x 2-1/4”
  • Mossy Meadow Card Stock: 2-1/2” x 3/4”
  • Vellum Card Stock: scrap for dragonfly
  • Designer Series Paper: 1-1/2” x 5-1/2”   and   2” x 2”   
  • White Baker’s Twine: 10”

Instructions:

  1. Use Mossy Meadow ink to stamp the flower images along the bottom of the white card stock panel. Tie baker’s twine around the stems at the bottom of the panel, with bow on left side.
  2. Adhere Designer Series Paper strip to front of card, 3/8” from fold. Adhere white panel 3/8” from right side on card front. Glue the Designer Series Paper square to Blackberry square and attach to front of card between Designer Series Paper strip and white panel using dimensionals.
  3. Emboss greeting on Mossy Meadow strip using Versamark pad, white emboss powder and heat tool. Once it is embossed, you can cut it shorter, if desired. Adhere over baker’s twine with dimensionals.
  4. Emboss dragonfly image on vellum using Versamark ink, gold emboss powder and heat tool. Punch out with dragonflies punch and attach to square panel on front of card with mini glue dots.

CARD: Quiet Meadow

QUIETMEADOW

Measurements:  

  • Basic White: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”           3 ¾” x 5”                 ½” x ¼”
  • Basic Black: (2) ¾” squares                  4 ½” x 2 ¼”             1” x ¾”
  • DSP:           (2) ¾” squares       

Instructions:

  1. Fold Basic White 8 ½” x 5 ½” card stock in half and create to create card base.
  2. Using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, adhere 4 squares to Basic White layer.
  3. Die-cut Basic Black Flower. Adhere to Basic White layer using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  4. Die-cut Basic Black tag. Ink phrase using Memento ink and stamp onto Basic White scrap. Adhere phrase to tag using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Attach tag to card front using Mini Stampin’ Dimensional.
  5. Thread White Baker’s Twine through hole in tag and tie around flower stem to complete card.
