CARD: Nature's Harvest

Happy Friday!  Here's to the weekend!

This card was created for the Colour Inkspirations Challenge (on facebook).  The colors this time around were:  Very Vanilla, Mango Melody, Old Olive and Fresh Freesia.  I wasn't sure these were good together, but how wrong was I?!!  Love this combo!!!  Pulled out the Harvest Meadow Suite once again--it is sooooo easy to work with!  It's definitely my favorite suite right now!!

CARD: Color & Contour for Just Us Girls Challenge!

Yes, another challenge card!  I love doing these challenges, as they usually take me outside my usual stamping box!  This was no exception!  I absolutely LOVE the way this card turned out--but it was hard to not add a pop of color! haha!

The challenge at Just Us Girls was "black & white".  Be sure you hop on over there--so many wonderful cards using only black and white!  WOW!!!

CARD: Whiskey Business for the Paper Players

Good morning!  This card was created for the Paper Players Challenge #554--a clean and simple masculine card!  Simple cards are super easy--I do them all the time!!  But the "clean" part--well, not so much!  I gave it my best shot for this one, and it turned out pretty cute!  Masking was used to make the glass appear in front of the decanter!  And I couldn't resist the Matte Black Dots, which might make it not "clean"! haha!

CARD: More Stampin' Spritzers!

Good morning!!  Two more cards with the Spritzers!  Hope you aren't tired of this technique!!

For these two cards,  I used the Square Vellum Doilies as a Mask.

For this first card, we went back to the Shaded Spruce, but used the Tasteful Touches Stamp Set this time:

Spritzer2

This one uses the Polished Pink and Crushed Curry combo, along with the Happiest of Birthdays Stamp Set!

CARD: Brilliant Wings Dies

As promised, here are two more cards I created using the Stampin' Spritzers!

I cut out the butterflies using the Brilliant Wings Dies, and used them as a mask. For the accent butterly,  I cut out from the In Color Shimmer Vellum (polished pink):

Spritzer1

These two butterflies were the masks!  But, they were so pretty, I had to use them on a card, too!

I used Polished Pink and Crushed Curry Ink Refills for the spritzers.  Love the way both these cards turned out!

CARD: Stampin' Spritzer

Good morning!  How is your weekend going?  Hopefully, you're doing something you enjoy!

The stamp club is really great about sending me requests for techniques, how to use tools, etc!  Mary wanted to learn how to use the Spritzers!  Here's the card we made:

Aug cc 4

I used Shaded Spruce in the Spritzer, along with 91% isopropyl alcohol.  First we stamped the Stacked Stone Background Stamp, then spritzed it with the Shaded Spruce!  Then do the rest of the stamping!!  It was a simple way to get used to using the spritzer!  Come back tomorrow for some other cards using the spritzers!!

Gifts for my Stamp Club!

Good morning!  This fun treat was a gift for my stamp club ladies last weekend!

Aug cc gift

It's my version of a "thank you" card for their orders!  I used the Delicate Dahlias Stamp Set along with the Heartwarming Hugs DSP!  Simple but cute, I think!

Swaps!!

Good morning!  TGIF!!  I'm so happy that it's Friday!

Today, I have some awesome cards created by the ladies in my monthly Stamp Club!  The theme for August was Masculine cards!  These are beautiful, don't you think?

The ladies vote for their favorite each month, and Mary won with this card for August!

This is Carmen's card.  She used a background technique using the Watercolor Shapes--fun, isn't it?

CARD: Artistically Inked Bundle (the reject card!)

Good morning!  Yesterday's card was the one my Stamp Club made--but it seems like I go through several ideas for each technique, and this is one of the ones that didn't quite make the cut! haha!!

Adhesive

I love the white die cut against the Expressions in Ink Specialty Paper, but the rest of the card needed something!  Maybe I'll try again with this design!  Any suggestions?
