Flowing Flowers in Pale Papaya

  • Pale Papaya (base): 5 ½” x 8 ½”; scored at 4 ¼”
  • Basic White (layer): 5 ¼” x 4”
  • Basic White (layer): 3 ¾” x 2 ¾”
  • Basic Gray (layer): 4” x 3”
  • Ribbon: 8” & 5”

  1. Fold your Pale Papaya card base in half.
  2. On the smaller piece of Basic White, put one small piece of adhesive in the middle. And then attach the smaller piece to the larger piece.  This is just to hold it in place temporarily while you stamp.
  3. Stamp the flowers with Pale Papaya ink so that some of the flowers go partly on the small piece and partly on the bigger piece. Don’t worry about any “gaps” between the two pieces of cardstock as they will get covered up later.
  4. Stamp the saying, with Basic Gray ink on the bottom right of the smaller piece of cardstock.
  5. Carefully remove the smaller piece of White cardstock and attach it to the Basic Gray layer.
  6. Attach the larger piece of stamped White cardstock to the front of the card base.
  7. Wrap the shorter piece of ribbon around the middle of the smaller piece of white cardstock and secure it at the back.
  8. Attach the smaller layer to front of the card base using dimensionals.
  9. Tie a bow with the longer piece of ribbon and attach it to the card front with glue dots.
  10. Add three gray Matte Dots to the front of the card.

Artfully Layered for a Challenge!

Good morning!  I had such a great morning!  Finished plans for a swap and a class!  So, took a few moments to stamp for fun!  Wasn't sure what I wanted to create, so headed to my pinterest board where I collect sketches and color combinations!  I found the sketch at Try Stampin' On Tuesday, and here's what I came up with:

This suite is sooooo easy to work with!  The colors are amazing, and everything coordinates perfectly!!  More samples to come, I promise!!

Here's the sketch--I followed it pretty closely!  (I'm a rule follower by nature! haha!)

And, here are all the wonderful products used on today's card -- I've listed the suite and bundle--please don't order both!

Let's Set Sail!

Here's a great masculine bundle for you:  Let's Set Sail!!  I love that it's a punch, rather than dies.  Don't get me wrong--I love dies!  But, it's nice to have variety!

For the 3 panels in front--I stamp a single panel, then cut into thirds.  It's much easier than trying to hold the 3 pieces together while you stamp!!  For the outline stamp, we used Highland Heather ink, and the detail stamps are Fresh Freesia!

I love this Fresh Freesia!!  And, it pairs so nicely with Basic Black!!  For the sentiment panel, I simply stamped the flower image several times in Fresh Freesia ink, then stamped the sentiment in Tuxedo Black ink.  That is popped up with dimensionals over the designer series paper.  Simple!
